Barbara Beck-Azar integrates mainstream counseling with diverse therapies to help clients of all ages lead more meaningful lives. She earned a bachelor's degree in psychology and military resilience from Liberty University in 2016, followed by a master's in life coaching and pastoral counseling in 2023. In 2020, Barbara completed an Advanced Course in Logotherapy at the Viktor Frankl Institute of Israel and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Penn West University in 2024. Additionally, she is a certified art therapy practitioner.

Barbara’s therapeutic approach focuses on building self-esteem, setting future goals, and developing resilience through discovering a sense of meaning and purpose.

She finds that this empowers clients to harness their willpower, enabling them to make better choices and navigate challenges while discovering personal meaning in life.

In her free time, Barbara pursues her passion for art, creating paintings, illustrations, and graphic designs using watercolors. She stays active by walking her dogs, Gabby and Zanah, and practicing Pilates. Barbara enjoys spending time with her family and traveling. She has lived in Japan, Hawaii, and Saudi Arabia and has visited numerous places, including Madrid, Mexico, Cypress, and almost every state in the USA.

“Imagination allows us to envision new possibilities—it is an essential launchpad for making our hopes come true. It fires our creativity, relieves our boredom, alleviates our pain, enhances our pleasure, and enriches our most intimate relationships.” Bessel van der Kolk, “The Body Keeps the Score”
