Robin attended the University of Redlands in California where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in psychology and Spanish. She then earned a master’s degree in counseling at Southwestern College in Santa Fe in 2002.

Robin is passionate about providing individual therapy for adults and adolescents using a holistic, integrative process, incorporating principles of mindfulness, attachment theory, cognitive-behavior therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy. Recognizing that emotional and physical well-being are interconnected, she practices an integrative approach, linking therapy to other mind/body-based techniques when helpful.

When Robin was in her early twenties, she studied yoga and meditation for three years at a holistic health retreat center in Massachusetts. She obtained her certification to teach yoga and continued to explore methods of developing personal, physical, and spiritual growth and well-being. Robin worked as a high school counselor for a number of years, and she has extensive experience working with adolescents, military families, refugees and immigrants, and individuals seeking to heal from trauma and develop a high quality of life.

Robin comes from a trauma-informed and strength-based perspective. With a warm, nonjudgemental style and tailored therapeutic techniques, she collaborates with her clients to identify their core values and aspirations. Her goal is to facilitate healing and growth, allowing each individual to cultivate a strong sense of identity and purpose and to build a fulfilling, dynamic life. She helps clients navigate challenges like anxiety, negative self-talk, irrational beliefs, life transitions, grief and loss, and identity development, tailoring her therapeutic approaches to meet each client's unique needs.

Growing up in Northern New Mexico, Robin developed a love for the mountains and vast skies of New Mexico and she continues to enjoy exploring this beautiful state. She loves hiking, camping, kayaking, paddle-boarding, and short walks in nature with her husband, daughter and twin sister. She loves travel and learning about new cultures, expanding her knowledge of the Spanish language, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
