Paisley is a dedicated professional with a strong academic foundation in psychology. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of New Mexico (UNM), where she developed a deep understanding of human behavior and psychological principles. Building upon this foundation, Paisley pursued her passion for psychology further by earning a Master’s degree from New Mexico Highlands University in Clinical Social Work where she went on to work with patients on dialysis and their families and as a therapist.
Paisley engages in an empathetic and humanistic approach in her work with clients, and holds a strong belief that a solid therapeutic relationship is the key to establishing a safe space to help clients grow.
Paisley sees clients as the experts in their lives and pulls from varying modalities to meet the needs of clients, including through mindfulness, CBT, and solution-focused therapy. Paisley uses her personal experiences with anxiety to inform her practice with clients through use of stress management and coping tools.
In her free time, Paisley enjoys baking as well as engaging in arts and crafts such as drawing, painting, book-binding, polymer clay and jewelry-making. Paisley loves going on walks out in nature and doing yoga to destress, and enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and two cats. Paisley is a lover of the geeky and nerdy and enjoys video games, tabletop gaming, and card games.
