With a degree from Western New Mexico University, her professional journey is enriched by diverse experiences, showcasing her expertise in working with rural and urban communities, Veterans, the LGBTQIA+ population, and BIPOC communities. Amanda's dedication to diversity extends to her impactful work in youth detention, residential treatment, and individual therapy.

Employing a holistic treatment approach, Amanda utilizes various therapeutic modalities tailored to individual needs.

As a certified Clinical Trauma Specialist - Individual, she brings specialized knowledge to trauma-focused interventions.

Formally trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Written Exposure Therapy, Amanda specializes in trauma therapy. Her approach is deeply rooted in recognizing and honoring neurodiversity and respecting the unique strengths and perspectives of each client.

When Amanda is not working, she enjoys spending time with her partner and fur-babies at home or outdoors. Amanda has a strong desire to travel and experience different cultures and environments. Amanda also enjoys hands-on do-it-yourself projects, spending time with family and friends, and gardening.
